Delayed, with no new date. On 5 September 2026 Google told us the expansion was delayed, live experiments were paused and the timetable was being revised. No replacement date was given, and Google's public CSS documentation still lists only the 21 established countries. We email you once Bosnia and Herzegovina is confirmed.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a non-EU market in the second 2026 wave, with spend in convertible mark. We will verify CSS availability before connecting any merchant here.

The currency is pegged to the euro at a fixed rate

Bosnia and Herzegovina uses the convertible mark, fixed at 1 EUR = 1.95583 BAM. The rate does not move, so converting a euro price list is arithmetic rather than a currency risk.

You still need the prices in marks in the feed. A euro price shown to a Bosnian buyer is a price they have to convert themselves, and that is a conversion you lose.

It does not make this a euro market. Prices are shown, paid and refunded in marks, and the feed has to carry the local currency.

Countries (choose one or more)

These 15 markets are pending in our expansion watchlist; selecting one does not mean it is currently available.

Latin and Cyrillic are both in daily use

Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian are all official, and the country uses both the Latin and the Cyrillic script. Buyers search in whichever they type fastest.

Pick the Latin script for the feed if you have to choose one: it is the more common in online commerce here. Do not attempt to serve both scripts from one set of titles, because you will match neither well.

The shop systems here, and how they reach Merchant Center

The only technology-detection dataset found for Bosnia and Herzegovina returns an implausible top result for this market and is not used as a share figure; two smaller, independent counts agree that WooCommerce has a substantially larger presence than Shopify, without giving a reliable full ranking. WooCommerce connects to Google Merchant Center via the official Google for WooCommerce plugin, and Shopify via the Google and YouTube sales channel.

Frequently asked

Is Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EU?

No. Customs, VAT and delivery follow non-EU rules even though the currency is tied to the euro.

Which script should the titles use?

Both Latin and Cyrillic are in use. Decide which one your titles carry rather than mixing them inside a single catalogue.

Does the fixed rate ever move?

It has stood at 1.95583 since the mark was introduced. State the rate in your feed rather than leaning on automatic conversion at click time.

Do I need to touch my feed to make this work?

No. Whatever gets your catalogue into Merchant Center today keeps doing exactly that. A CSS sits one layer up: it changes who submits the bid, not how the feed gets there.

What if I want to leave after switching?

Cancel any time from your portal, with no minimum term and no exit fee. Inside the first 60 days you can also just ask for your money back, no explanation required.

Do I need a second feed just for this?

No. The same feed that already reaches Merchant Center is what a CSS submits from. One feed, one Merchant Center account, no duplicate setup.

Who do I actually talk to if something needs fixing?

A real person on our side, not an anonymous ticket queue. Support, billing and cancellation are all handled from the same portal you use to add a shop.

Is there a limit on how many shops I can add?

No. Pricing is per shop with an automatic volume discount from five shops, calculated from your total. Adding more shops later just recalculates that total; it does not require a new agreement.

Does the switch pause my ads while Google processes it?

No. Your ads keep running the entire time, under whichever CSS is currently submitting them, until the new one is confirmed. There is no gap in coverage.

Is my data shared with anyone new by switching?

No. A CSS only submits the ad your Merchant Center feed already builds; it does not see your website, your customers or any data beyond what Merchant Center already exposes to any authorised party.

Does this work if I already run Performance Max, not just standard Shopping?

Yes. The bid-power effect applies to the Shopping portion of a PMax campaign specifically; the rest of the campaign runs exactly as before, because the switch happens in Merchant Center, not inside the campaign itself.
