2. What data we collect

2.1 Sign-up and CSS association

When you subscribe, we collect the information you provide at checkout, which includes your webshop URL and your Google Merchant Center ID. We use the Merchant Center ID to send you a Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) association request from our CSS Center and to set you up in the CSS programme. We do not access your orders, customers, prices, margins or payment data.

2.2 Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. When you pay, Stripe collects and processes your billing and card details under its own privacy terms. We do not store full card numbers. We receive from Stripe a confirmation of payment and the custom fields you provide at checkout (webshop URL and Merchant Center ID).

2.3 Membership status

Our backend stores your subscription and paid status (linked to your Stripe session) so we can verify an active membership and show you the onboarding steps after payment.

2.4 Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, mostly anonymised usage data (page views, navigation, device type, approximate region) to improve the site. Analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default for visitors in the EEA (Consent Mode). Google Fonts are loaded from Google servers, which may set cookies. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

3. Legal basis

  • Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)): processing your Merchant Center ID, payment and membership status to deliver the service you subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)): aggregated analytics to improve the site.
  • Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)): where required, for example non-essential cookies.

4. Third parties

We use the following third-party services that may process data:

5. Retention

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at kontakt@gezar.dk.
