Denmark is where Gezar is run from, and the market we have measured for longest. Nothing here is pending: the programme is live, and a shop can be running through us tomorrow.
You can see it in a Danish search result right now
Denmark is our home market, and it is the one place where you do not have to take our word for it. Search Google Shopping for a Danish merchant such as Danmarks-Posen and look at the grey line under the ad: the comparison service named there is us.
That line is how Google shows which CSS submitted the ad. It is the same check you can run on your own shop a day after switching.
The krone is pegged, so the price list stops being a job
Denmark is not in the euro, but the krone sits in ERM II at a central rate of 7.46 per euro and the national bank holds it in a very narrow band. It has not moved meaningfully in decades.
In practice a euro catalogue converts to kroner once and stays right. That is unusual: in most non-euro markets on this list the rate is something you have to revisit.
What the extra bid power is actually worth here
Take a shop spending 5.000 kr a month on Shopping. Up to a fifth of every bid is taken as margin before the auction, so up to 1.000 kr never competes for anything.
That figure is industry experience and ours, not something Google publishes. Keep the budget where it is and the same 5.000 kr simply buys more clicks.
The shop systems here, and how they reach Merchant Center
A July 2026 measurement of Danish company websites found WooCommerce used by 65% (6,927 companies) and Shopify by 25% (2,635 companies), with Dandomain not appearing in that particular dataset. A separate database run by the Danish company Indexo lists 3,136 Dandomain webshops on its own, out of more than 20,000 Danish webshops tracked overall. If you run WooCommerce, your feed connects to Google Merchant Center through the official Google for WooCommerce plugin; Shopify stores connect through the Google and YouTube sales channel, and Dandomain shops generate an XML feed URL under Shop Settings that is added manually to Merchant Center.
Frequently asked
Do I have to move my Merchant Center account?
No. You keep the account, the feed and the campaigns you have. The CSS is the party that submits the ad, and that is the only thing that changes.
How long does it take to go live?
Within 24 hours in practice. Setup is under five minutes and the rest is Google processing the change.
Can I check that it actually happened?
Yes, and you should. A day after the switch, search Shopping for one of your own products and read the grey provider line under the ad.
Is Denmark big enough to be worth its own feed?
Around six million people, so it is a small market by European standards and a wealthy one. Online retail is unusually well established here, and most categories already have serious domestic competition.
Does the money-back guarantee apply here?
Yes. You have 60 days to get your money back, no questions asked, in Denmark as everywhere else.
Is this a new integration I have to build?
No. There is nothing to build. Whatever already pushes your catalogue into Merchant Center keeps running unchanged; the switch itself is one approval, not a new connection.
Does trying this cost anything if it does not work out?
Not if you decide within 60 days: full refund, no questions. Outside that window there is still no lock-in, just monthly billing you can stop from your portal.
Do I need a second feed just for this?
No. The same feed that already reaches Merchant Center is what a CSS submits from. One feed, one Merchant Center account, no duplicate setup.
Does the switch pause my ads while Google processes it?
No. Your ads keep running the entire time, under whichever CSS is currently submitting them, until the new one is confirmed. There is no gap in coverage.
Is there a limit on how many shops I can add?
No. Pricing is per shop with an automatic volume discount from five shops, calculated from your total. Adding more shops later just recalculates that total; it does not require a new agreement.
Who do I actually talk to if something needs fixing?
A real person on our side, not an anonymous ticket queue. Support, billing and cancellation are all handled from the same portal you use to add a shop.
Is my data shared with anyone new by switching?
No. A CSS only submits the ad your Merchant Center feed already builds; it does not see your website, your customers or any data beyond what Merchant Center already exposes to any authorised party.
Does this work if I already run Performance Max, not just standard Shopping?
Yes. The bid-power effect applies to the Shopping portion of a PMax campaign specifically; the rest of the campaign runs exactly as before, because the switch happens in Merchant Center, not inside the campaign itself.
